Is A Royal Event considered a beauty pageant?
No, it is not. Our event is about getting to know Real Outstanding Young Achieving Ladies in the community and empowering them.
What is the community service involvement project?
We provide young ladies with a list of items they can bring in support of the chosen local charity for this year. This is updated regularly based on the needs of the facility so a list is provided and this is an easy way to earn points towards A Royal Night. This is a mandatory component to participate in the event.
What about registration fees?
All girls ages 10-14 must participate in the camp in order to partake in a Royal Night. Those not of the camp age should complete the application online.
Do I have to have any formal training or coaching to participate?
Absolutely not. Our event is all about getting to know "REAL OUTSTANDING YOUNG ACHIEVING LADIES" and inspiring them to feel empowered.
What are the various age categories for A Royal Night?
Miss Royal Pre- Teen Ages 10-12 Age as of January 1st of the year (Girls ages 10-14- camp registration includes the showcase fee at no additional cost.)
Miss Royal Junior Teen Ages 13-14 Age as of January 1st of the year
Miss Royal Teen Ages 15-16 Age as of January 1st of the year
Are their prizes?
Prizes available vary from year to year but will include a photo spread in local magazine, crown, sash, participation in Downtown Holiday Parade and more.
How do I apply?
You can apply online for the camp and/or showcase. A special information session is held in Spring (Click here to RSVP to attend) . All girls are required to participate in the empowerment workshop and leadership training. Please join our mailing list to ensure you do not miss out on the opportunity to participate.
